Study Group Teaching Method Description:

With the expertise and guidance of two special educators, Study Group Team Members will implement innovative visual strategies to improve the communication, organization, and social participation skills of students with disabilities. Some of the visual strategies include daily schedules, work systems, communication systems, furniture and material arrangement, signs and labels, written messages, choice boards, and written directions to enhance communication and independence.

By participating in this Study Group, teachers will work collaboratively to learn topical and practical ways to differentiate and individualize instruction so that all students are met at a level where they can participate and learn.
